Father's Day is coming up this weekend and I hope that you and all the Fathers in your life have a wonderful day of celebration.  I'm happy to share some recipe ideas here that don’t take long to make and can still be gifted on Father’s Day.

Tradition dictates that Mother's Day is celebrated once a year and we will be following this tradition on Sunday, but truthfully most Mothers deserved to be celebrated every day and not just when retail suggests that we do! I found this short story/poem, written by twentieth Century author Temple Bailey, around the time my lovely Mother passed in March 2009 and I reread it every Mother's Day.
