April 21 to May 20
As we review our Aromatic Astrology, we see that Taurus is the second sign of the Zodiac, Taurus and has the archetypes of the Earth Spirit, the Musician and the Silent One.
Taurus seeks peace and tranquility. The endpoint for Taurus is to find serenity and to keep it. While not all Taurus natives are nature lovers, Taurus can learn much from Mother Nature and taking time to be in Nature. Their second great teacher is silence. Taurus is the most taciturn of the signs. They can at time find too much talking frustrating. They are drawn to silence and simplicity which can bring peace. Inner silence is Taurus’ true goal and through music they can reach this goal. Music, listened to or even better played, can bring that inner silence. Of all the signs Taurus is the most physical. The sense of touch is very important to them. They need to experience the world not only in their minds but also through touch.
Taurus has an aversion to drama. They instinctively seek out circumstances that will allow them to find their silence and simplicity. A stable job, a reliable network of relationships, and with great patience and absolute practicality they create their world. On the shadow side if Taurus loses sight of their inner peace they may be drawn into trying to find it in the material outer world.
Taurus is determined and although he may appear quiet and noncommittal on the surface, beneath the surface there is an iron will. This gives them the capacity to do anything that they are resolved to do, but it can also produce inflexibility. This is something for Taurus to guard against.
Taurus is a doer not a dreamer, and they look at whatever they do from a practical and realistic point of view. They are kind, affectionate, seldom moody and not easily offended. But they fail to understand temperamental, volatile, unpredictable people as they like to feel settled and secure.
