Demeter, Greek goddess of the harvest, is considered the mother archetype of the triple goddess. Her story has offered consolation through the ages to mothers everywhere and serves to explain the seasons. Her story is intrinsically linked with that of her daughter Persephone, whose story I shared in February when Persephone was the Goddess who guided us through that meditation and energy healing.
