Juniper Berry for Will Power

The card that popped out for my Sunday Essential Oil Reflection is Juniper Berry. Juniper Berry boosts Will Power and it helps ease the fear of failure!

Juniper Berry with its fresh, woody, balsamic, slightly peppery and smoky aroma can be very helpful as an addition to a blend for anxiety, depression, insomnia, stress-related problems and more. It has excellent diuretic properties and can be very helpful in easing menstruation pains, PMS, as well as loss of menstruation.  Juniper Berry can also stimulate the kidneys and bladder.  It has been found to be helpful during labour.

Energetically, Juniper Berry can be very helpful in clearing negativity and helps to protect against negative influences.  It can help to restore confidence and help increase feelings of self-worth.

I have found that when creating blends, Juniper Berry is an oil that can help smooth and round out the aroma. In Perfumery it is considered to be a ‘bridge’ note and sometimes when you find that your oils are not ‘playing nicely together’ adding a little Juniper Berry to the blend will round it out really nicely.

Cautions: It is generally recommended to avoid using Juniper Berry essential oil during pregnancy. Because it has diuretic properties, it is often recommended to avoid its use when someone is dealing with kidney disease or acute kidney and bladder infections.
