When we consider the energetic influences brought by the Full Moon, Flower, Crystal and Essential Oils attributed to a particular month I am always amazed by the additional subtle nuances and insights we can bring to the creation of our essential oil synergies. I do hope that you enjoy the video, its information and my final synergy for the month.
In addition to the March Energetics covered in this video, I would like to add another lens to consider from the Tarot. In Tarot each of the Astrological Signs are associated with a Major Arcana Card so each month I share information about the Major Arcana card that represents the Sun Sign operating for most of that month. An interesting and often effective nuance to consider when looking at the energetics that are all around. Pisces (February 19 – March 20) is the Sun Sign we are looking at and its Major Arcana Card is XVIII The Moon.
XVIII The Moon
In their book, Around the Tarot in 78 Days, a Personal Journey Through the Cards, Marcus Katz & Tali Goodwin say The Moon says: “Keep in synch with me, for I am the source of your emotional sustenance, I share with you my life force. I am all that is dreamy. Within my realms you learn secrets from beyond the veil.” And the Key Concepts: All That Is Unknown and Steps in the Dark.
The Qualities this card describes include: Experiencing fluctuations, delving into emotions, sensing or exploring other dimensions, dreaming, fantasizing, facing emotional tests, behaving erratically, discover that not everything is as it seems.
While the potential Shadows highlighted include: Living in a fantasy world, deception, moodiness, emotional instability, psychosis.
The Strengths Achieved by consciously working with its energy include: Unselfishness, simplicity, faith, family harmony, innovation, understanding animals and nature.
While potential Weaknesses Revealed include: Greed, ungoverned imagination, sexual obsession, separatism, excessive empathy, withdrawal.
Considering The Moon’s Numerology, usually written in Roman Numerals XVIII, eighteen added together becomes a nine and the number nine can be about seeking greater good and learning lessons, culmination, fruition, consequences, attainment, completion, reflection, the end, rest, exhaustion, integration, processing, the final push, fulfillment, release, decline, withdrawal. Reassessment.
The Tree of Life is made up of 10 Sefirot and 22 Paths and each of the Paths is associated with a Major Arcana Card. The Moon lies on Path 29 Qoph or Kaf meaning the Back of the Head.
This path runs between Netzach and Malkhut and reminds us that the Moon’s Journey through the Tree of Life represents connecting with our intuition and the mysteries of the unknown to manifest our desires in the physical world. This path teaches us to trust in our inner guidance and to embrace the power of the subconscious mind in achieving our goals.
Energetically, The Moon is associated with:
o Chakra: 5th Throat Chakra
o Bach Flower Remedy: Pisces: Clematis; Aspen; Centaury
o Crystal: Selenite
o Essential Oils: Marjoram, Melissa, Sandalwood.
