When we consider the energetic influences brought by the Full Moon, Flower, Crystal and Essential Oils attributed to a particular month I am always amazed by the additional subtle nuances and insights we can bring to the creation of our essential oil synergies. I do hope that you enjoy the video, its information and my final synergy for the month.

In addition to the February Energetics covered in this video, I would like to add another lens to consider from the Tarot.  In Tarot each of the Astrological Signs are associated with a Major Arcana Card so each month I share information about the Major Arcana card that represents the Sun Sign operating for most of that month. An interesting and often effective nuance to consider when looking at the energetics that are all around. Aquarius (January 20 – February 18) is the Sun Sign we are looking at and its Major Arcana Card is XVII The Star.

XVII The Star

In their book, Around the Tarot in 78 Days, a Personal Journey Through the Cards, Marcus Katz & Tali Goodwin say The Star says: “Be reassured that all is how it should be and that your potential will be fulfilled.  Take a look around you and see the wonder that is creation, be full of purpose and be part of the process of making a difference in the world.  Take pride in your work and achievements and be assured that fulfillment and prosperity will come from doing what you do best!’  The more you resist my charms, the more you will be tempted to give in with total abandonment, with no limitations!”  And the Key Concepts: The Vision of the Soul and Future Pacing.

  • The Qualities this card describes include:  Hopeful, peaceful, cooperative, charitable, devoted, self-accepting, nurturing, appreciative, spiritually replenished.

  • While the potential Shadows highlighted include:  Intolerance for anything but the idea.

  • The Strengths Achieved by consciously working with its energy include:  Hope and inspiration, individuality, strength to follow dreams, greater will and understanding.

  • While potential Weaknesses Revealed include:  Fear of following dreams, pettiness, self-doubt, impracticality, imposition of will, lust, idleness.

  • Considering The Star’s Numerology, usually written in Roman Numerals XVII, seventeen added together becomes an eight and the number eight can be about focus on long-term gain, elucidation, advancement, maturity, mastery, clarity, equilibrium, strength, things falling into place. Displaying our strengths.

  • The Tree of Life is made up of 10 Sefirot and 22 Paths and each of the Paths is associated with a Major Arcana Card.  The Star lies on Path 28 Tzaddi meaning the Fishhook.

This path runs between Yesod and Netzach and reminds us the journey of the Star represents the connection between intellectual insight, emotional victory, and the importance of hope and inspiration.  This path teaches us to look to our dreams and aspirations for guidance and to trust in the power of the universe to support us on our journey.

Energetically, The Star is associated with:

o   Chakra:  4th Heart Chakra

o   Bach Flower Remedy:  Aquarius: Beech: Water Violet; Water Chestnut

o   Crystal:  Lapis Lazuli

o   Essential Oils:  Eucalyptus, Fir, German Chamomile.
