Pine for Self Worth

The card that popped out for my Sunday Essential Oil Reflection is Pine.  Pine is for self worth, it helps restore confidence and strength of will!

Pine with its sweet, fresh, camphorous, woody aroma has anti-fungal, anti-neuralgic, anti-rheumatic, anti-septic (pulmonary, urinary, hepatic), antiviral, deodorant, decongestant, insecticidal, rubefacient properties.   The essential oil is steam distilled from the needles.  Pine’s refreshing and cooling properties are helpful when dealing with fatigue, nervous exhaustion, debility & neuralgia and stress related conditions.  It refreshes a tired mind.  As well as being cleansing and healing for hopelessness, low self esteem, lack of energy, weakness and nervous depletion.

Pine with its antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, is helpful in skin care and dealing with boils, fleas, sores, eczema, psoriasis, ringworm, lice, congested skin and wounds.  It can also help with excessive perspirations.  Its expectorant properties can be helpful for asthma, bronchitis, whooping cough, sinusitis, sore throat and laryngitis.  While its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties can be used for joint & muscular aches & pains, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatism, gout, neuralgia and sciatica.  Pine can also be considered for simple water retention and stiffness, as well as to improve circulation.  Pine’s diuretic properties are helpful when dealing with cystitis and urinary infections.

Energetically, Pine repels and clears negative energy.  It can also be used to increase energy in the subtle bodies.  It may help anyone who feels depleted or stagnant.
