Fennel Essential Oil for Self Love

Fennel Reflection

Fennel was the essential oil that popped out of my essential oil card deck when I was choosing an oil for my Reflection today. On an energetic level, Fennel essential oil can be wonderful for self-love as it helps one to take back one's own power!

Fennel is helpful for dull, oily & mature skin and wrinkles. Its decongestant and tonic properties can be helpful for asthma, asthmatic bronchitis, whooping cough, pulmonary congestion and difficulty breathing. It can act as a slight muscle analgesic and is helpful for neuromuscular spasm, paralysis, lumbago and a tendency to spasm. It can be very helpful for the digestive system and used for gum disease, pyorrhea, anorexia, dyspepsia, colic, constipation, hiccups, nausea and flatulence. It has been used to help with detoxification from alcohol, nicotine and toxic hangovers. It may also help with loss of appetite. Its diuretic properties make it helpful to use with simply water retention. It is though to induce menstruation, aid labor and increase milk flow.

Energetically, Fennel helps one to identify the root causes of self-rejection and encourages the ability to embrace oneself. It heals issues to do with victimization, dread of new ideas and taking back of one's power. Fennel can help to increase courage, confidence and motivation and promote uninhibited communication.
