When we consider the energetic influences brought by the Full Moon, Flower, Crystal and Essential Oils attributed to a particular month I am always amazed by the additional subtle nuances and insights we can bring to the creation of our essential oil synergies. I do hope that you enjoy the video, its information and my final synergy for the month.
In addition to the November Energetics covered in this video, I would like to add another lens to consider from the Tarot. In Tarot each of the Astrological Signs are associated with a Major Arcana Card so each month I share information about the Major Arcana card that represents the Sun Sign operating for most of that month. An interesting and often effective nuance to consider when looking at the energetics that are all around. Scorpio (October 23 – November 22) is the Sun Sign we are looking at and its Major Arcana Card is XIII Death.
XIII Death
In their book, Around the Tarot in 78 Days, a Personal Journey Through the Cards, Marcus Katz & Tali Goodwin say Death says: “There are some things in life that are inevitable, and I am one of the, so embrace the positive aspects of the nature of inevitability and what I represent as death. I am the catalyst for you to eliminate the aspects of your life that are outworn and no longer required which can include bad habits or simply routines that have become restricting in your life. Face up to the inevitable and stop avoiding living life to the full because of your self-imposed limitations.”
And the Key Concepts: Transformation and Not recognising the Old You.
The Qualities this card describes include: In psychological or spiritual transition, unattached to outcomes.
While the potential Shadows highlighted include: Prematurely ending relationships or projects, affecting an attitude of nonattachment as a defense against the fear of loss.
The Strengths Achieved by consciously working with its energy include: Acceptance, assimilation of grief, understanding of other’s problems, ability to leave past behind.
While potential Weaknesses Revealed include: Temptations, irresponsibility, fear of choosing, gluttony, exaggeration, narrow sightedness.
Considering Deaths’ Numerology, usually written in Roman Numerals XIII, thirteen added together becomes a four and the number four can be about playing it safe, seeking stability, order, structure, protection, security, foundation, consolidation, contraction, conservation, as well as applying, possessing, reasoning, practicality and authority. Consolidation.
The Tree of Life is made up of 10 Sefirot and 22 Paths and each of the Paths is associated with a Major Arcana Card. Death lies on Path 24 Nun meaning the Fish.
This path runs between Tiferet and Netzach and reminds us that the Death card represents the connection between strength and victory and the importance of transformation and rebirth. The Death Card’s journey through the Tree of Life represents letting go of old patterns and embracing new beginnings. It is a reminder to let go of the old to make way for the new. This path teaches us to embrace the transformative power of change and trust in death and rebirth.
Energetically, Death is associated with:
o Chakra: 7th Crown Chakra
o Bach Flower Remedy: Scorpio: Chicory; Holly; Beech
o Crystal: Crocoite
o Essential Oils: Cypress, Cumin.
