July Energetics: Full Moon, Cancer Season, Chariot Tarot Insights & Essential Oils

When we consider the energetic influences brought by the Full Moon, Flower, Crystal and Essential Oils attributed to a particular month I am always amazed by the additional subtle nuances and insights we can bring to the creation of our essential oil synergies. I do hope that you enjoy the video, its information and my final synergy for the month.

In addition to what I have shared about July's energetics in the video, in this post I would like to add another lens to consider when creating an energetic blend for the month. In Tarot each of the Astrological Signs are associated with a Major Arcana Card so each month I share information about the Major Arcana card that represents the Sun Sign operating for most of the month. An interesting and often effective nuance to consider when looking at the energetics that are all around. Cancer (June 21 - July 20) is the Sun Sign we are looking at and its Major Arcana Card is VII The Chariot.

VII The Chariot

In their book, Around the Tarot in 78 Days, a Personal Journey Through the Cards, Marcus Katz & Tali Goodwin say The Chariot says: '"Just do it, and then go, go, go! Once you know your life direction, do not stop. You must move swiftly if you want to achieve success in life. There is no going back once you are on your way. My momentum will carry you to victory." And the Key Concepts: Momentum and Getting Out of Your Own Way.

• The Qualities this card describes include:  Purposeful, brave, driven, disciplined, ambitious, idealistic, victorious, heroic.
  

• While the potential Shadows highlighted include:  Bravado, workaholism, feeling compulsively driven, feeling worthy and loved only through achievements.
  

• The Strengths Achieved by consciously working with its energy include: Balance, enhanced concentration, courage, discipline, self-control, psychic energy.
  

• While potential Weaknesses Revealed include: Instability, avarice, cruelty, depletion of energy, lack of caring, inability to focus, no control, lack of determination.
  

• Considering the Chariot's Numerology, usually written in Roman Numerals VII, the number seven can be about self-development, rising to the challenge, focused action, trailblazing, opportunities, discipline, determination, forward movement, reflection, willpower.  A return of struggle in order to expand.
  

• The Tree of Life is made up of 10 Sefirot and 22 Paths and each of the Paths is associated with a Major Arcana Card. The Chariot lies on Path 18 Chet meaning the Fence. This path runs between Binah and Gevurah and reminds us that the Chariot represents the connection between strength and understanding and the balance between action and contemplation. The Chariot’s journey through the Tree of Life represents mastering one’s willpower and determination and using that energy to overcome obstacles and move forward on one’s path.  The Chariot must balance strength and understanding, action and contemplation to succeed. This path teaches us to harness our power and energy and balance opposing forces to achieve our goals.
