When we consider the energetic influences brought by the Full Moon, Flower, Crystal and Essential Oils attributed to a particular month I am always amazed by the additional subtle nuances and insights we can bring to the creation of our essential oil synergies. I do hope that you enjoy the video, its information and my final synergy for the month.
In addition to what I have covered in the video, in this post I would like to add another lens to consider when creating an energetic blend for the month. In Tarot each of the Astrological Signs are associated with a Major Arcana Card so each month I share information about the Major Arcana card that represents the Sun Sign operating for most of the month. An interesting and often effective nuance to consider when looking at the energetics that are all around. Gemini (May 21 - June 20) is the Sun Sign we are looking at and its Major Arcana Card is The Lovers
VI The Lovers
In their book, Around the Tarot in 78 Days, a Personal Journey Through the Cards, Marcus Katz & Tali Goodwin say The Lovers says: '"We are aligned with unity and cooperation. We are at one and can embody love and life. There is a need to be open and transparent in our relationships; nothing should be held back, even if emotional expression exposes us to feelings of vulnerability." And the Key Concepts: Choice and Every moment a Decision.
The Qualities this card describes include: Alluring, emotionally open, trusting, intimate, sexually attracted, a soul mate.
While the potential Shadows highlighted include: Possessiveness, over0idealization of the relationship, codependency.
The Strengths Achieved by consciously working with its energy include: Versatility, balance of male and female, intelligence, sensitivity, strengthens inner voice, humor.
While potential Weaknesses Revealed include Lack of communication, lack of humor, inability to choose, rigidity, insensitivity, indiscrimination.
Considering the Lovers' Numerology, usually written in Roman Numerals VI, the number six can be about seeking harmony, equilibrium, cooperation, community, charity, reunion, pleasure, enjoyment, beauty, compassion, peace, spiritual connection, well-balanced relationships, communication, cooperation, Stability.
The Tree of Life is made up of 10 Sefirot and 22 Paths and each of the Paths is associated with a Major Arcana Card. The Lovers lie on Path 17 Zayin meaning the Sword.
This path runs between Binah and Tiferet and reminding us that the Lovers represent the unification of the masculine and feminine energies embodied in Tipheret and Binah, respectively. The Lovers’ journey through the Tree of Life represents the process of seeking union and connection with others and the divine. The Lovers must learn to balance their personal needs and desires with their partners to achieve balance within their relationship. This path reminds us to approach love with respect and compassion and to seek harmony and balance in all relationships, including the relationship with the divine.
Energetically, the Lovers is associated with:
Chakra: 7th Crown Chakra
Bach Flower Remedy: Gemini: Heather; Cerato; Agrimony
Crystal: Rose Quartz
Essential Oils: Lavender, Geranium, Peppermint.
