When we consider the energetic influences brought by the Full Moon, Flower, Crystal and Essential Oils attributed to a particular month I am always amazed by the additional subtle nuances and insights we can bring to the creation of our essential oil synergies. I do hope that you enjoy the video, its information and my final synergy for the month.
In addition to the October Energetics covered in this video, I would like to add another lens to consider from the Tarot. In Tarot each of the Astrological Signs are associated with a Major Arcana Card so each month I share information about the Major Arcana card that represents the Sun Sign operating for most of that month. An interesting and often effective nuance to consider when looking at the energetics that are all around. Libra (September 23 – October 22) is the Sun Sign we are looking at and its Major Arcana Card is XI Justice.
XI Justice
In their book, Around the Tarot in 78 Days, a Personal Journey Through the Cards, Marcus Katz & Tali Goodwin say Justice says: “It is crucial to be objective in regard to decision making, we must not let these decisions be clouded by our own personal agenda. It is easy to fall into the trap of responding in a knee-jerk reaction to a problem that needs solving. It is advisable to take a step back and evaluate the situation at hand.” And the Key Concepts: Accuracy and Meeting Your Measure.
The Qualities this card describes include: Discerning, reasonable, fair, honest, scrupulous, precise.
While the potential Shadows highlighted include: Telling the truth with hurtful intent, judging harshly.
The Strengths Achieved by consciously working with its energy include: Application of thought and energy, developing conscience, decisiveness, impartiality, objectivity.
While potential Weaknesses Revealed include: Duality, unforgiving, failure to make decisions, deceitfulness, lack of conscience, ignoring our disruptions, superficiality.
Considering Justice’s Numerology, usually written in Roman Numerals XI, eleven added together becomes a two and the number two can be about finding a balance, choosing, transcending, beginnings, development, preparation, weigh possibilities, planning, partnerships, duality. Decisions.
The Tree of Life is made up of 10 Sefirot and 22 Paths and each of the Paths is associated with a Major Arcana Card. Justice lies on Path 22 Lamed meaning the Ox-goad.
This path runs between Gevurah and Tiferet and reminds us that Justice represents the connection between strength and balance and the importance of justice and truth. The Justice card’s journey through the Tree of Life represents seeking truth and balance and the need for impartial judgment in all situations. It reminds us to approach all problems objectively and seek truth and harmony.
Energetically, Justice is associated with:
o Chakra: 5th Throat Chakra
o Bach Flower Remedy: Libra; Scleranthus; Centaury
o Crystal: Jade
o Essential Oils: Myrtle, Palmarosa, Spearmint.
